The reason we went for you was that your statement of works was really honest and we were convinced that you had taken everything into account when you’d priced the job, rather than others who hadn’t taken account of the fact that there were tiles on tiles (with the potential impact this would have). It would have been easy on an unsupervised job to cut corners and it’s clear that you and your team have not done so. "My wife and I discovered Atherton Properties when we were viewing properties with a view to move house. We viewed a bungalow in Widnes and discovered the specification and detail to the quality of decoration and restoration to be outstanding and beyond our expectations. Although the property wasn’t large enough to meet our requirements we took a business card, which was one of the best decisions we made.

After we moved house we contacted Atherton Properties, amongst a number of other companies, to visit our house and provide us with quotes and estimates for work we wanted carrying out. From their first visit, to complete the quote, we were impressed with their eye to detail and creative proposals about how we could maximise the work we wanted carrying out. When walking through the house, Adrian in particular, was identifying more creative ways of how we could have the alterations completed and we were extremely impressed with the thoroughness shown when gathering information regarding our requirements.

Following the visit we later received a no-nonsense quotation clearly listing all of the work they were proposing to carry out on our behalf with a specific time scale and clear costings. I was very impressed that all issues had been addressed and there were no hidden costs or ‘additional unforeseen works’ included. Their quote was extremely competitive and we contracted them to carry out the work, which involved significant building alterations to the property including the removal of the back wall, internal alterations, central heating and electrics.

I am happy to say that the work was completed, without hitch, to our satisfaction and we were extremely impressed with the manner by which it was carried out. Most impressive was the way they were able to identify minor problems we had missed, such as light switches not being in the right place, and also suggested additional critical features we had overlooked. Overall we were more than satisfied and would recommend this company to anybody with complete confidence that they will carry out the work to your satisfaction and you will want to bring them back. In fact we did exactly that bringing them back six months later to convert a bedroom into a bathroom."
